Here is our Whatta Character prompt for November:
Through the pancake-steamed window of the diner, the boy could be seen through squinted eyes, emerging from the sunlit chrome of his father’s big rig. He held in his left hand a Big Gulp cup, stretched as far from his body as he could get it, and headed toward the diner’s single dumpster. The driver’s side door left open, his mother (presumably) was visible in the passenger seat, rubbing peach powder onto her round cheeks.
